Decent Work, Decent Lives
Fay works in the community to support organizations and movements advocating for decent work and decent lives for all. She is a Board Member of the Atkinson Foundation which through grant-making, advocacy and investment supports social and economic justice, inspired by the Atkinson Principles.
Equal Pay Coalition
Fay has been a member of the Equal Pay Coalition since 1996 and its co-chair, along with Jan Borowy, since January 2017. Fay works with coalitions of community organizations, racialized communities, workers’ organizations, labour unions across Ontario and across Canada to build movements for women’s economic justice and to close the systemic gender pay gap.
Migrant Workers Rights
Fay has been working since 1990, with community-based organizations of workers and coalitions, to advance the economic and social rights of transnational migrant workers in Canada. She is currently leading a 5-year action research project with the Barbra Schlifer Clinic to address gendered economic coercion of women in migration.

Fay collaborates with civil society organizations internationally to build movements for decent work and decent lives, advocate for the rights of migrant workers and to fight for the rights of women and racialized workers by addressing the structural roots of oppression.
